P/2003 L1の軌道と予報位置です



 久万の中村彰正氏は,6月20日にこの彗星を観測しました.氏の CCD全光度は

19.0等でした.彗星の発見前のイメ−ジが2002年4月5日,14日,30日のパロマ−

NEATサ−ベイのフレ−ム上,さらに,2003年4月29日のハレアカラNEATサ−ベイ

のフレ−ム上に見つかりました.このときの彗星の光度は20等級でした.彗星は,

周期が17年ほどの新周期彗星でした.

 なお,彗星の軌道は,D/1993 F2 (S-L-9)(q= 5.3791,e= 0.2046,ω= 355.05,

Ω= 221.06,i= 5.77)に似ていますが,将来,土星には接近しますが,過去100年

間には,木星には接近していません.
