OAA computing section circular NK 1295 71P/Clark

The following improved orbital elements, by S. Nakano, are from 241 observations 1994 to 2005, including planetary perturbations by Mercury to Neptune and three minor planets, Ceres, Pallas, Vesta, and non-gravitational effect of style II. The mean residual is +/- 0.89 arc second. See previous orbits in NK 661 and NK 933 (= HICQ 2006). Delta-T correction for NK 933 is -0.41 day. The reason why delta-T was some large correction depends upon that near aphelion observations made in 1996-1997 were included in orbital improvement with heavy weights.
