Nakano Note (Nakano wa Kangaeru noda) NK 2218 C/2011 Q4 (SWAN)

The following improved orbital elements, by S. Nakano, are from 154 observations 2011 Sept. 4 to 2012 Feb. 29. Perturbations by Mercury to Neptune and three minor planets, Ceres, Pallas and Vesta, were taken into account. The mean residual is +/- 0.61 arc second. The comet has passed 2.37 AU from Jupiter on 2010 Nov. 29 and 5.23 AU from Saturn on 1737 Oct. 29 UT. Approximate computation shows the previous T= around 1733.
