Nakano Note (Nakano wa Kangaeru noda) NK 3875 C/2017 K5 (PANSTARRS)
The following improved orbital elements, by S. Nakano, are from 49 observations 2017 May 27 to 2019 Aug. 26. Perturbations by Mercury to Neptune and three minor planets, Ceres, Pallas and Vesta, were taken into account. The mean residual is +/- 0.40 arc second. Residuals on 2019 August observations were -3" for Right Ascension and -13" for Declination from an orbit in NK 3600 (= HICQ 2019). The comet will pass 2.62 AU from Jupiter on 2020 Apr. 25 and 3.31 AU from Saturn on 2020 May 21 UT. See the previous orbits in NK 3468 and NK 3600.
