Nakano Note (Nakano wa Kangaeru noda) NK 4183 141P/Machholz 2-A = P213Rbq (NEOCP)

The following improved orbital elements, by S. Nakano, are from 266 observations 2005 to 2020, including planetary perturbations by Mercury to Neptune and three minor planets, Ceres, Pallas, Vesta, and non-gravitational effect of style II. The mean residual is +/- 0.94 arc second. Identification suggested by D. Bell. Residuals for re-observations were -18" for Right Ascension and -9" for Declination from the prediction in NK 3435 (= HICQ 2020) with the delta-T correction = +0.025 day. The comet has passed 0.93 AU from Jupiter on 2017 Oct. 13 UT and will pass 0.53 AU from the Earth on 2021 Jan. 19 UT. The comet has missed in 2010 return.
