Nakano Note (Nakano wa Kangaeru noda) NK 4339 141P/Machholz 2 - I (Principal component A in 2015 & Inner component in 2020; I was degignated, temporarily)

The following improved orbital elements, by S. Nakano, are from 262 observations 2015 to 2021, the observations of principal component A in 2015 and observations of Inner component in 2020. Planetary perturbations by Mercury to Neptune and three minor planets, Ceres, Pallas, Vesta, and non-gravitational effect of style II were taken into account. The mean residual is +/- 1.10 arc seconds. The comet has passed 0.93 AU from Jupiter on 2017 Oct. 13.8 UT. Inner component in 2020 might be a new fragment split from the principal component A in the previous return. If this is correct, the inner object was ejected with the velocity = -0.51 m/s at 2015 perihelion (Revolution velocity of principal component = 43.06 Km/s at that time) using Kozai's theory (Proc. Japan Academy, 78B, 84-60, 2002).
