Nakano Note (Nakano wa Kangaeru noda) NK 4397 P/PANSTARRS (2015 F1 = 2021 A11)

The following improved orbital elements, by S. Nakano, are from 216 observations 2015 to 2021. Perturbations by Mercury to Neptune and three minor planets, Ceres, Pallas and Vesta, were taken into account. The mean residual is +/- 0.63 arc second. Residuals of the recovery observations from the prediction in NK 3667 (= HICQ 2019/2020/2021) were +3'.4 for Right Ascension and -1'.6 for Declination with the delta-T correction = -0.20 day. The comet has passed 0.46 AU from Jupiter on 1975 Dec. 2 UT. Before this approach, orbit was T= 1968 10 13.4, q= 4.038 AU, e= 0.042, Peri.= 35.6, Node= 72.4, i= 3.3, a= 4.214 AU, P= 8.65 years.
