Nakano Note (Nakano wa Kangaeru noda) NK 4495 P/Lemmon (2008 CL94 = 2021 A12)

The following improved orbital elements, by S. Nakano, are from 74 observations 2008 to 2021. Perturbations by Mercury to Neptune and three minor planets, Ceres, Pallas and Vesta, were taken into account. The mean residual is +/- 0.39 arc second. Residuals for the recovery observations were -92" for Right Ascension and -11" for Declination from the prediction in NK 1837 (= HICQ 2020/2021) with the delta-T correction = +0.26 day. The comet has passed 0.66 AU on 1921 July and 0.91 AU on 1986 Oct. 11 from Jupiter and 3.78 AU from Saturn on 2007 Sept. 10 UT. See a linked orbit in CBET 4992 (same orbit).
