Nakano Note (Nakano wa Kangaeru noda) NK 4519 P/Scotti (2015 Q1 = 2021 P5)

The following improved orbital elements, by S. Nakano, are from 359 observations 2015 to 2021. Perturbations by Mercury to Neptune and three minor planets, Ceres, Pallas and Vesta, were taken into account. The mean residual is +/- 0.59 arc second. Residuals of the recovery observations on 2021 Aug. 2 were +6'.7 for Right Ascension and +1'.2 for Declination from the prediction in NK 3984 (= HICQ 2020/2021) with the delta-T correction = -0.25 day. The comet has passed 0.58 AU and 1.54 AU from Jupiter on 2005 Dec. 2 and 2017 Dec. 8 UT, respectively. See the previous orbits in NK 3042, NK 3149 and NK 3984.
