◎141P/Machholz 2の軌道と予報位置です
上尾の門田健一氏は,3月16日夕刻,山本速報 No.2462に予報が出ているこの
周期彗星のA核の観測に成功しました.氏によると,彗星は,集光した拡散像で
コマの視直径は1',尾は見られなかったとのことです.氏の CCD全光度は13.1等
でした.彗星は,A核の予報位置から 約30'のずれがあって,その近日点通過時
刻への補正値は儺=+0.487日でした.D核が生存しているとすれば,山本速報に
ある儺よりさらに,この分の量のずれがあることになります.
下の軌道は,1994年10月以後の観測と門田氏までの観測を連結したものです.
なお,1994年の分裂による非重力効果がすでになくなっているならば,1999年以
後の観測を重力のみで結んだ方が良いかも知れません.
なお,HAL No.197によると,大分の柏木周二氏が3月8日にこの彗星を捕らえ
ているとのことですが,位置的な確認はできていません.
