Nakano Note (Nakano wa Kangaeru noda) NK 2367 C/2009 P1 (Garradd)

The following improved orbital elements, by S. Nakano, are from 8343 observations 2009 Aug. 13 to 2012 Dec. 13. Perturbations by Mercury to Neptune and three minor planets, Ceres, Pallas and Vesta, and non-gravitational effects of style II were taken into account. The mean residual is +/- 0.47 arc second. The comet has passed 2.96 AU from Jupiter on 2010 Sept. 21 UT and 1.27 AU from the Earth on 2012 Mar. 5. Recent Observations after 2012 Oct. show residual 3" off from an orbit in NK 2216 (= HICQ 2012). See the previous orbits in NK 1863, NK 1953, NK 1996, NK 2109, NK 2194 and NK 2216.
