Nakano Note (Nakano wa Kangaeru noda) NK 2837 221P/LINEAR

The following improved orbital elements, by S. Nakano, are from 176 observations 2002 to 2015. Perturbations by Mercury to Neptune and three minor planets, Ceres, Pallas and Vesta, were taken into account. The mean residual is +/- 0.68 arc second. The residuals for 2015 January and March observations are +15" and +26" mainly in R. A. respectively from the prediction in NK 2311 (= HICQ 2014) by T. Kobayashi with the delta-T correction = -0.01 day. The comet will pass 0.74 AU on 2025 June 1 and 0.48 AU on 2036 July 11 UT from Jupiter. See the previous orbits in NK 904, NK 1799 and NK 2331.
