Nakano Note (Nakano wa Kangaeru noda) NK 3221 C/2015 WZ (PANSTARRS)

The following improved orbital elements, S. Nakano, are from 287 observations 2015 Oct. 25 to 2016 July 18. Perturbations by Mercury to Neptune and three minor planets, Ceres, Pallas and Vesta, were taken into account. The mean residual is +/- 0.59 arc second. The residuals for observations in 2016 July were -5" off mainly for Right Ascension from an orbit in NK 3159 (= HICQ 2016). The comet will pass 0.97 AU from Jupiter on 2017 Aug. 22 UT.
