Nakano Note (Nakano wa Kangaeru noda) NK 3657 323P/SOHO

The following improved orbital elements, by T. Kobayashi, are from 91 observations 1999 to 2016, including planetary perturbations by Mercury to Neptune and three minor planets, Ceres, Pallas, Vesta, and non-gravitational effect of style II. The mean residual is +/- 17.2 arc seconds. The comet has passed 0.26 AU from Jupiter on 2015 Feb. 13 and will pass 0.30 AU and 0.79 AU from Jupiter on 2026 Dec. 11 and 2038 Nov. 11 UT, respectively. Also the comet has made close approaches 0.058 AU to Earth on 2000 Jan. 13 and 0.029 AU to Mars on 2004 May 19 UT. See the previous orbits in NK 1774 and NK 3011.
