Nakano Note (Nakano wa Kangaeru noda) NK 3841 C/2017 Y2 = A10dZRT (PANSTARRS)
Hidetaka Sato, Tokyo, has indentified an object A10dZRT in PCCP with a missing comet C/2017 Y2 which was observed during a short arc 2017 Dec. 24 to 2018 Jan. 12. Residuals on 2019 June observations show +2.4 deg for Right Ascension and -3.2 deg for Declination from an orbit in HICQ 2019. Sato reports mag.= 19.0 on 2019 June 3 and 19.2 on June 5 with a coma diameter = 7-8", and also T. Ikemura observed mag.= 18.9 on June 5. The following improved orbital elements, by S. Nakano, are from 85 observations 2017 Dec. 24 to 2019 June 9. Perturbations by Mercury to Neptune and three minor planets, Ceres, Pallas and Vesta, were taken into account.
