Nakano Note (Nakano wa Kangaeru noda) NK 3911 386P/PANSTARRS (2011 U1)

The following revised orbital elements, by S. Nakano, are from 78 observations 2004 to 2019. Perturbations by Mercury to Neptune and three minor planets, Ceres, Pallas and Vesta, were taken into account. The mean residual is +/- 0.38 arc second. The 2004 observations were found by Maik Meyer in 2012, which was the delta-T correction = -7.2 days from my orbit with residuals of +3.13 deg for R. A. and +0.09 deg for Decl.. See in NK 2184. Residuals of recovery observations made at F51 in 2019 September were -12" for R. A. and -3" for Decl. from the prediction in NK 3414 (= HICQ 2019) with the delta-T correction = +0.015 day. The comet has passed 0.81 AU from Jupiter on 2010 Mar. 13 and will pass 0.63 AU from Jupiter on 2033 Jan. 15 UT. See the previous orbits in NK 2184, NK 3414, NK 3908 and CBET 4693 (this orbit).
