Nakano Note (Nakano wa Kangaeru noda) NK 4131 P/2020 F1 (Leonard)

The following improved orbital elements, by S. Nakano, are from 116 observations 2002 to 2020. Perturbations by Mercury to Neptune and three minor planets, Ceres, Pallas and Vesta, were taken into account. The mean residual is +/- 0.44 arc second. Identification with 2002 observations by Nakano (CBET 4736) and The obseravations on 2002 March 11/12 were found by K. Sarneczky. The comet has passed 0.0077 AU from Saturn on 1936 May 6.9 UT. Before this close approach, orbit was T= 1932 Nov. 14.9, q= 8.994 AU, e= 0.196, Peri.= 226.0, Node= 71.0, i= 2.0, a= 11.194 AU, P= 37.5 years. Also comet passed 0.91 AU from Jupiter on 1944 Feb. 5 and 0.69 AU from Saturn on 1995 Mar. 19 UT. Observations in 2002 show the residuals of +40" for Right Ascension and -13" for Declination from an orbit on CBET 4736 with the delta-T correction = -0.06 day.
