Nakano Note (Nakano wa Kangaeru noda) NK 4166 11P/Tempel-Swift-LINEAR

The following improved orbital elements, by S. Nakano, are from 95 observations 2001 to 2020, including planetary perturbations by Mercury to Neptune and three minor planets, Ceres, Pallas, Vesta, and non-gravitational effect of style II. The mean residual is +/- 0.61 arc second. Residuals of re-observations on 2020 were -10" for Right Ascension and -2" for Declination from the prediction in NK 3431 (= HICQ 2020) with the delta-T correction = +0.004 day. The comet has passed 0.60 AU and will pass 0.52 AU from Jupiter on 2018 Sept. 14 and 2030 July 22 UT, respectively.
