Nakano Note (Nakano wa Kangaeru noda) NK 4556 142P/Ge-Wang

The following improved orbital elements, by S. Nakano, are from 71 observations 1999 to 2021, including planetary perturbations by Mercury to Neptune and three minor planets, Ceres, Pallas, Vesta, and non-gravitational effect of sublimating molecule = CO (or N2) using Yabushita's theory (MN 283, 347). The mean residual is +/- 0.78 arc second. Residuals of re-observations on 2021 October and November were -37" for Right Ascension and -7" for Declination from the prediction in NK 3643 (= HICQ 2020/2021) with the delta-T correction = +0.03 day. The comet will pass 0.99 AU from Jupiter on 2029 Sept. 30, 1.88 AU from Saturn on 2038 Apr. 7 and 0.71 AU from Jupiter on 2041 Sept. 8 UT. The observations on 2020 July 18 (Q68), 2021 Aug. 16 (213) and 2021 Sept. 8 (X03) don't belong with this comet. See the previous orbits in NK 533, NK 1151, NK 1999 and NK 3643.
