Nakano Note (Nakano wa Kangaeru noda) NK 4571 P/Christensen (2005 T2 = 2012 V5 = 2020 OV62)

The following improved orbital elements, by S. Nakano, are from 129 observations 2005 to 2020. Perturbations by Mercury to Neptune and three minor planets, Ceres, Pallas and Vesta, were taken into account. The mean residual is +/- 0.50 arc second. The residuals on 2012 Aug. 3 observation were +1.03 deg for Right Ascension and +0.27 deg for Declination with the delta-T correction = -1.89 days, also residuals on 2020 July 31 observations were +1.02 deg for Right Ascension and +0.29 deg for Declination with the delta-T correction = -3.29 days from the predictions in NK 1398 and NK 3440 (= HICQ 2011, HICQ 2019). The comet has passed 2.69 AU from Jupiter on 2019 Sept. 10 and will pass 0.41 AU from Jupiter on 2037 Nov. 12 UT. See the previous orbits in NK 1398 (= YC 2491), NK 3440 and CBET 5074 (same orbit).
