Nakano Note (Nakano wa Kangaeru noda) NK 4572 P/LINEAR (2008 WZ96 = 2021 Wx)

The following improved orbital elements, by S. Nakano, are from 136 observations 2008 to 2021. Perturbations by Mercury to Neptune and three minor planets, Ceres, Pallas and Vesta, were taken into account. The mean residual is +/- 0.48 arc second. Residuals for the recovery observations were -65" for Right Ascension and -6" for Declination from the prediction in NK 3673 (= HICQ 2020/2021) with the delta-T correction = +0.026 day. The comet has passed 0.35 AU from Jupiter on 2006 Apr. 8 (orbit was changed due to this approach) and 0.81 AU from Jupiter on 2017 Oct. 9 UT. The comet was missed on 2015 return.
