Nakano Note (Nakano wa Kangaeru noda) NK 4761 P/Lemmon-PANSTARRS (2014 R5 = 1998 Wx = 2006 Sx = 2022 Lx)

The following improved orbital elements, by S. Nakano, are from 129 observations 1998-2022, including planetary perturbations by Mercury to Neptune and three minor planets, Ceres, Pallas, Vesta, and non-gravitational effect of sublimating molecule = CO (or N2) using Yabushita's theory (MN 283, 347). The mean residual is +/- 0.51 arc second. Recovery observations were found from the observations on 2022 MPECs M21 and N37. Residuals from the prediction in NK 3983 were +0.31 deg for Right Ascension and +0.12 deg for Declination with the delta-T correction = -0.99 day. Also the following objects were found from a linked orbit 2014-2022. Their residuals were 43" for 1998 and 18" for 2006 observations from this orbit. Thus the comet has made four appearances. Now observations 1998-2022 no longer fit on gravitation only and non-gravitational solution of Water-Ice.
