Nakano Note (Nakano wa Kangaeru noda) NK 4780 C/2014 S3 (PANSTARRS)
The following improved orbital elements, by S. Nakano, are from 48 observations 2014 Sept. 22 to Nov. 18. Perturbations by Mercury to Neptune and three minor planets, Ceres, Pallas and Vesta, were taken into account. The mean residual is +/- 0.39 arc second. The comet has passed 1.04 AU from Saturn on 2011 May 18 and 2.69 AU from Jupiter on 2014 Mar. 11 UT. Also comet passed 3.70 AU from Saturn again on 2018 Oct. 6 UT.
