Nakano Note (Nakano wa Kangaeru noda) NK 4785 P/Sheppard-Tholen (2021 R9 = 2008 Tx)

The following improved orbital elements, by S. Nakano, are from 46 observations 2007 to 2022. Perturbations by Mercury to Neptune and three minor planets, Ceres, Pallas and Vesta, were taken into account. The mean residual is +/- 0.28 arc second. The comet has passed 0.45 AU from Jupiter on 1931 Jan., 3.98 AU from Saturn on 2018 May 6 and 2.89 AU from Jupiter on 2020 Nov. 18 UT. Also comet will pass 0.46 AU from Jupiter on 2037 Mar. 7 UT. See a orbit in CBET 5153 (same orbit). The following objects were found from an orbit from 2021/2022 observations.
