Nakano Note (Nakano wa Kangaeru noda) NK 4796 P/PANSTARRS (2015 X1 = 2008 Tx = 2022 Qx)

The following improved orbital elements, by S. Nakano, are from 96 observations 2008 to 2022. Perturbations by Mercury to Neptune and three minor planets, Ceres, Pallas and Vesta, were taken into account. The mean residual is +/- 0.41 arc second. Residuals for the recovery observations were +27" for Right Ascension and +5" for Declination from the prediction in NK 3986 with the delta-T correction = -0.016 day. The comet has passed 0.59 AU from Jupiter on 2005 Jan. 20 UT. See the previous orbits in NK 3031, NK 3087 and NK 3986. The following identical objects in 2008 were found from a linked orbit 2015-2022 which show small residuals. So that delta-T correction was not required.
