Nakano Note (Nakano wa Kangaeru noda) NK 4884 C/2022 J2 (Bok)

The following improved orbital elements, by S. Nakano, are from 99 observations 2022 May 9 to Dec. 2. Perturbations by Mercury to Neptune and three minor planets, Ceres, Pallas and Vesta, were taken into account. The mean residual is +/- 0.57 arc second. Residuals for 2022 December observations were about 15" from an orbit in NK 4842. The comet will pass 1.93 AU from Jupiter on 2023 Aug. 12 and 4.54 AU from Saturn on 2025 Apr. 17 UT.
