Nakano Note (Nakano wa Kangaeru noda) NK 5297 C/2023 Q1 (PANSTARRS)
The following improved orbital elements, by S. Nakano, are from 254 observations 2023 July 25 to 2024 Oct. 1. Perturbations by Mercury to Neptune and three minor planets, Ceres, Pallas and Vesta, were taken into account. The mean residual is +/- 0.59 arc second. The comet has passed 4.61 AU from Saturn on 2022 Sept. 13 and 2.75 AU from Jupiter on 2024 Jan. 18 UT. 2024 September-October observations show the residuals of +9" for Right Ascension and +3" for Declination from an orbit in NK 5145 (= CH 2024).
