Nakano Note (Nakano wa Kangaeru noda) NK 5393 P/PANSTARRS (2019 A8 = 2025 B3)

The following improved orbital elements, by S. Nakano, are from 66 observations 2018 to 2025. Perturbations by Mercury to Neptune and three minor planets, Ceres, Pallas and Vesta, were taken into account. The mean residual is +/- 0.52 arc second. Because comet was observed in short arc (55 days) on the 2018 return and orbit was changed due to close approach to Jupiter (0.26 AU) on 2021, the delta-T correction was large +49.2 days for the prediction in NK 5033 (= CH 2025). The comet has passed 0.27 AU and 0.26 AU from Jupiter on 2009 Nov. 26 and 2021 Nov. 1 UT, respectively. The recovery observations 2025 Jan.-Feb. were found by T. Kobayashi.
