Nakano Note (Nakano wa Kangaeru noda) NK 5434 414P/STEREO

The following improved orbital elements, by S. Nakano, are from 219 observations 2016 to 2025, including planetary perturbations by Mercury to Neptune and three minor planets, Ceres, Pallas, Vesta, and non-gravitational effect of style II. The mean residual is +/- 2.04 arc seconds. Residuals on 2025 August were +40" for Right Ascension and -39" for Declination from the prediction in NK 5030 (= CH 2025) with the redta-T correction = -0.012 day. The comet will pass 0.88 AU and 0.83 AU from Jupiter on 2031 Dec. 6 and 2055 Aug. 23 UT, respectively. See the previous orbits in NK 4366 (= CBET 4911) and NK 5030.
