Nakano Note (Nakano wa Kangaeru noda) NK 5439 P/Broughton (2005 T5 = 2025 S1)
The following improved orbital elements, by S. Nakano, are from 118 observations 2005 to 2025. Perturbations by Mercury to Neptune and three minor planets, Ceres, Pallas and Vesta, were taken into account. The mean residual is +/- 0.64 arc second. Identifications with 2024 observations (P11VZFJ = P11W1Z2) by T. Kobayashi. Residuals of +0.24 deg for Right Ascension and +0.03 deg for Declination on 2024 observations and +0.26 deg for R. A. and +0.23 deg for Decl. on 2025 September observations from the prediction in NK 1400 (= CH 2025) with the delta-T correction = -1.32 days.
