Nakano Note (Nakano wa Kangaeru noda) NK 5540 P/2021 Q5 (ATLAS)
The following improved orbital elements, by S. Nakano, are from 222 observations 2021 Aug. 29 to Dec. 2. Perturbations by Mercury to Neptune and three minor planets, Ceres, Pallas and Vesta, were taken into account. The mean residual is +/- 0.64 arc second. The comet will pass 0.0093 AU from Jupiter on 2030 Aug. 26 UT. Due to this close approach, orbit of comet will be changed T= 2065 Nov. 23, q= 5.250 AU, e= 0.536, Peri.= 341.3, Node= 232.8, i= 12.5, a= 11.32 AU, P= 38.1 years and comet will exceed observable range.
