Nakano Note (Nakano wa Kangaeru noda) NK 5592 P/LONEOS (1999 RO28 = 2025 N3)
The following improved orbital elements, by S. Nakano, are from 118 observations 1999 to 2025. Perturbations by Mercury to Neptune and three minor planets, Ceres, Pallas and Vesta, were taken into account. The mean residual is +/- 0.70 arc second. Residuals for 2025 observations were -5.1 deg for Right Ascension and -0.3 deg for Declination from the prediction in NK 731 (= MPC 48382, MPC 65940; also NK 3215 and NK 5033) with the delta-T correction = +5.9 days. Comet has passed four revolutions after the discovery. So it would be the delta-T correction = +1.5 days for one revolution. The comet has passed 3.99 AU from Saturn on 2009 Apr. 8 and 0.69 AU from Jupiter on 2017 June 26 UT. Also comet will pass 0.40 AU from Jupiter on 2028 June 6 UT.
