Nakano Note (Nakano wa Kangaeru noda) NK 5602 P/ZTF (2021 N1 = 2026 M1)

The following improved orbital elements, by S. Nakano, are from 117 observations 2021 to 2026. Perturbations by Mercury to Neptune and three minor planets, Ceres, Pallas and Vesta, were taken into account. The mean residual is +/- 0.54 arc second. Residuals for the recovery observations were -4.0 deg for Right Ascension and -7.5 deg for Declination with the delta-T correction = +1.5 days from the new prediction in NK 5576 (The prediction in Comet Handbook 2026 was the delta-T correction = +2.1 days). The comet has passed 0.52 AU from Jupiter on 2003 Apr. 6 and will pass 0.17 AU from the Earth on 2026 June 29. Also comet will pass 0.82 AU from Jupiter on 2038 Sept. 7 UT.
