Nakano Note (Nakano wa Kangaeru noda) NK 5606 P/Gibbs (2012 K3)

The following improved orbital elements, by S. Nakano, are from 151 observations 2012 to 2026. Perturbations by Mercury to Neptune and three minor planets, Ceres, Pallas and Vesta, were taken into account. The mean residual is +/- 0.56 arc second. Residuals for the recovery observations on 2026 were -235" for Right Ascension and +6" for Declination from the prediction in NK 3203 (HICQ 2026) with the delta-T correction = +0.10 day. The comet has made three appearances. The comet has passed 0.21 AU from Jupiter on 2002 Nov. 30 UT. See the previous orbits in NK 3203 and CBET 5715 (same orbit).
