◎P/2000 R2の軌道と予報位置です
9月27日の久万の中村彰正氏の観測で止まっていたこの彗星の観測に
同氏は,11月22日に再び成功しました.氏の CCD全光度は,20.0等でし
た.確認には,もう一夜の観測が必要でしょう.中村さん,もう一度,
観測できますか?

◎P/2000 R2の軌道と予報位置です
久万の中村彰正氏より9月20日の観測が報告されています.もう1夜,
我が国の観測を待っていましたがありませんでした.氏の CCD全光度は,
18.3等でした.神戸の長谷川一郎氏は,この彗星が1896年に発見され,そ
の後,見失われたジャコビニ周期彗星(D/1896 R2;ω= 140゚.5,Ω= 194゚.9,
i= 11゚.4,q= 1.455 AU,e= 0.588,a= 3.535 AU)と軌道の形,近日
点の方向が良く似ていることを指摘しています.ただし,彗星は,1932年
頃に木星に大きく近づき,その軌道が変化するために,同一天体かの確認
ができていません.
